My name is Baron Eickhoff, and I live in Daytona Beach with my wonderful wife, Christine, and our two furry kids named Jack and Tigger (guess which one’s the cat).
I’m no stranger to academics (I’m a member of Mensa and I have a Master’s degree in Computer Education and Mathematics), but I prefer to be where the action is in the aerospace and defense world.
My background includes teaching at a community college while working at the Space Center for over 20 years, and being responsible for monitoring AS9100 compliance on several Boeing programs, including the International Space Station program at Kennedy Space Center. I started auditing for registrars in 2009 and have enjoyed traveling the country and getting to meet (and often become friends with) so many great people in the aerospace and defense industry.
On the personal side, I enjoy Bible studies, Tennis, online Chess, and my wife’s Louisiana cooking (especially crawfish etouffee!).
At an early age my dad taught me to box and my mother taught me to pray. The boxing came in handy when my daughter, Melissa, got me into Kempo Karate, and the praying has taught me to be grateful for my blessings. I enjoyed my time with them, and have fond memories.
I’m hoping that we build new friendships and relationships here at AS9100 University, and am looking forward to getting to know you.
